  • Darn allergies, and normal allergy meds aren't helping.) My right eye is swollen up and I can't see out of it. Welcome to the Snap! (Shorter one today, my apologies.

  • I have a USG Pro on version 4.4.57 and have been for several weeks or more.I updated my US-48-500W on Wednesday night to 6.5.32.Thursday at 12:55 PM I had to hard reboot (pull the power) of my USG Pro to get it to re associate with my ISP, after which D.

  • NTopNG would be what I use but i just don't like how I cant drill down more specifically, so I was thinking I could drill down more specifically using Influxdb, telegraf, and grafana but if i cant be that specific maybe I could have it run a report every day and show the data usage per device that way using ntopng data displayed through grafana.if that is possible. today we used 80gb and here are all the devices that contributed usage to that 80gbs, etc. I love the fact it displays total bytes by a device in MAC List in Hosts but I want to see that list per day or per hour so I can see okay today are all the devices that were on the network used, here is what was used from 1pm to 8pm, here is what was used from 1am to 6am, etc. I tried to make some adjustments in NTOPng before like just labeling re0 and re1 as like isp vs home network or something like that to keep it straight but then it updated and wiped out the changes. then see a total usage for the day of GB or even by an hour or a few hours or specified time frame. I like NPTop but I want to be able to see everything at a glance like today all 8 devices were on and device 1 pulled 8gb, device 2 pulled 25gb, etc. I'd have to go back over it to see where I am actually at with that specific part. Rod-IT I dont have that APi key part just yet, I looked at that the other night and was missing parts of it. Sorry if anything is unclear I can try to re-word something if needed.

I wasnt sure how to change that ip for influx or grafana and was curious how I could change that if I wanted to down the road. In all the research i did, i came across inputting the server ip (i think in influxdb) which I think is just the ip of my pc w/the port# at the end. I know there are a few other plugins like Telegraf such as Netflow and maybe another one but I am not sure about the difference between all of them so I just stuck w/NTopng until i realized that its not as granular as what i want/need. I have not done that because I've only seen that mentioned once in all the research I've done AND I am not sure how honestly (im rather new to pfsense too). I am not sure how to set either (telegraf/ntop into influx & grafana) of them up and I did come across one article that mentioned I have to setup a firewall rule to allow influxdb and grafana ports. Telegraf is configured in PFsense and I believe NTopng is set to push data to influxdb and has that configured (for the most part).Įither way what i am having issues with is getting either Telegraf to talk to influx and then into grafana and or ntopng talking to influx, and then into grafana. specifically because I dont use linux on a regular basis and wanted something im familiar with.

I have influxdb and grafana installed on a windows 10 PC. My impression is that remote logging, telegraf, and ntop ng, all gather the same info just different ways to gather the info. I have pf sense setup to do remote logging as well and I have Telegraf installed. I need it to be more simple and specific which is why i wanted to try to configure something in Grafana. I have PF sense & NTopng setup but it isnt as granular as i'd like so I wanted to setup something to make it more granular using grafana (specifically every device on my network and how much data it pulls per day, w/in given time frames, etc.) I really like the graphics of ntopng but its still confusing a bit for me in general. I have searched a lot of different articles and vids on this topic of importing data from PFsense, into Influxdb, and to Grafana.
